Purpose of project : 

To increase capacities citizens, individual entrepreneurs, cooperative initiatives and local governments on climate change, climate adaptation and mitigation and specifically renewable energy production as a method of climate change mitigation, to introduce pilot renewable energy implementations and to promote best practices in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

 

Activities and Outputs:

1. Organizing workshop to identify state of affairs of Bornova, to determine capacity on climate change effects, adaptation, mitigation, renewable energy together.
2. Three trainings will be held on with 80 participants from target group.
3. Preparing an information leaflet on climate change, its effects and adaptation and mitigation measures is prepared and distributed printed and online.
4. A guideline on transition to renewable energy is prepared and distributed as hard copy and through a new website.
5. A press conference is organized in the end of the project to share the project outcomes.
6. An implemented solar power plant in the district will be introduced and promoted to the public.
7. 1000 guidebook and 1000 leaflets will be prepared and distributed to target groups.
